Departure Day Information 2013
Departure Day- Saturday June 29th:
Camper check-in is at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church on Saturday at 2:30 pm. New this year- we will be having a very short prayer service between camper check-in and departure (casual attire) so please arrive before 3:15 to check-in. Bus departure is approximately 3:30 and our expected arrival time at Camp Wapo is 5:00pm.
Please arrive with plenty of time to check-in, meet your counselors for the week and get your luggage loaded. The Southlot will be blocked off for the buses & luggage truck, but the Northlot and on-street parking will be available for your use. Please review our Packing & Preparation for Camp document located on the website for attire guidelines, packing list, and a sample schedule to help you prepare for a fun-filled week. Also on this page are our Behavioral Contract (to be reviewed and signed by both parent and camper- turned in at registration) and our Medication form (up to date information on any prescriptions- turned in to head counselor along with the medication)- both of which will also be available at the check-in table. We would like to remind all campers and parents that cell phones are prohibitedat camp so please leave them at home.
If your camper is not going to be riding the bus to or from camp and you did not include this information during registration- please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the details of when they are arriving/departing and who will be dropping them off/picking them up. Additionally, if you are not riding the bus, but arriving approximately the same time (5pm on Saturday), pls check in at WAPO with a member of our staff near the Arts & Crafts building. Directions to Camp Wapo (for those dropping-off and/or picking up your camper) are also available here.
Return Day- Friday July 5th:
Buses will depart Wapo @ 3:30 and our expected arrival at St. Mary's is 5:00pm.
We would like to remind all of our participating parishes that St. Mary’s Camp strongly discourages visitors. Please help us insure the safety of our campers by avoiding unscheduled visits.
